And I'm apparantly on the side of the angels; deffo doesn't feel like it right now though - I've been trying to get through to a ticket office and getting a constantly engaged tone for the past hour - grrr!!
Feeling more like Moriarty right now!!

Yep, agree with everything you said!  Khan is also my favourite baddie of all time now.

Same here. I think Benedict was made for playing baddies, and I know, that sounds very much like typecasting, but a nice baddie once in a while... that would be sweet.

To be honest, I think Ben would love playing a baddie every so often! He so obviously loved playing Khan.

So true. When I watched the first Bond movie with Daniel Craig again recently, I constantly thought 'Mads Mikkelsen is great, but this would have been the perfect role for Benedict'. Give him a more than one-dimensional role of a baddie and he'll do magic.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

It pains me to say it, Clare, after the thumping they got on Saturday,  but I'm trying to get FA cup semi final tickets to see Arsenal play Wigan!
Am now - finally - through to the queue; only about about another half hours wait!!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Okay I'm back, with STID, Gold gel pen to write on my painting and a new envelope to fit said painting in for sending to Benedict with his socks!

Just put STID and got my drool bucket ready!

I think he'd make a fab Bond baddie and give so much more to the traditional Bond baddie role. I'm not saying that all Bond baddies are rubbish but there is so much depth to Ben's acting...power, emotion, vulnerability...You can see it all in his (beautiful) eyes. So even when he is playing a character like Khan, you can see soooo much more than simply evil intent. You see the soul behind the darkness...

Of course, that deep silken baritone voice helps a lot - ha ha!

Sexy yet boyish, intelligent yet goofy, oozing confidence yet sometimes appearing shy/self conscious, sporty and outdoorsy yet thoughtful and "bookish" - just a beautiful mixture that adds up to GORGEOUS
