Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

Hmm try gorgon. (it's not the solution, but it's a clue. Put it in the URL)

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

I'm trying to find out the visitor's name but so far I only know that it's a five letter word.

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

No problem. Maybe if you get to 9, you'll figure it out and help me.

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

Thankyou! How did you work it out??

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was wondering if you'd like to have coffee...
Hmm. I really don't know. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say 'know'? I meant 'care'. I don't really care.

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

I don't think I will get that far!
Am I right in thinking that the answer to the second question is a combination of the three pictures on the left page?

I'm clever, I suppose. Did you manage to get to 8, then?

Oh, why not. It's not as hard as it seems. If you just pay attention and think outside the box a little. And yes, you are right.

Yes, Sparrow, it must be because of your massive intellect!
I'm on 8 now

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

Mhm...
Police? Officer?
Coach? Carriage?
How do you call this kind of hat?

--------------------------------

"Yes, of course I forgive you."

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

@Molly Your words, not mine.

@Lily Hmm I don't know where you're from but, you're going to need a more colloquial British term for "police officer". Neither of the words you said are correct. And that hat is a bonnet.

My goodness I'm spoiling everything

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

Is it bobby? Or cop?
Buggy? Car?

Something with carbon?

It's difficult when you're not a native speaker. :/

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

Yes, Car is right. And it is something with carbon. But it's neither buggy or cop. Although cop is close.

Actually, forget what I said before, I was being stupid. I actually do know where you're from. Not that is has any relevance.

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

Copper?
Copper carbon? Carbon copper?
Copy?

I don't have the slightest idea what this could possibly mean.

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

Yes, copper. Now you have the three words, put them together.

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

No you're not. You're never going to get anywhere with that attitude.

Did you find the chemical?

Re: The Sherlock Holmes Riddle

Well, I think it's impossible without help. That's a bit frustrating. :/
I am now at chapter three and I know from the clues here how to get the answer but I still can't quite unravel the anagram.
I think it's something to do with cocaine...
I'll try again tomorrow.
