I know what you mean. Last year I had a pupil who's family name was Reichenbach. It took me quite a long time before I could say her name without giggling inside.

Were you left wondering?
When I get mine (possibly next year, I'll keep you all posted!) I am seriously considering calling him that.

@Schmiezi I bet it did...oh my, that poor student, though. Reichenbach...*waiiiiiiiils*

...I've come across a book title, Lord Jim (by Joseph Conrad -no idea what it's about, apart from the theme "voyage and return stories).
...and later typed down "Calvin great expectations" in my browser to stumble upon the picture of a Vivienne Westwood shop.

I'm starting to think there's a hidden meaning to all of this...(no, no, apart from "obsessed" )

More "obsessed by the actors of Sherlock" here.

On my way to the Barbican, I passed in front "Martin's Court", and a sign for "St. Andrew’s Church".
Now, I'm about to cross Westminster Bridge...look up and see "Martin" in capital letters.

"Obsessed" does seem to be the right word, doesn't it...?
Though there's nothing wrong with it, obviously.

Oh yes, I felt the same in London.. You can't help but see it everywhere!
Northumberland Ave. , Bainbridge.. The hideout at Big Ben.. Everytime I saw a view with London Eye the theme music started playing in my head and I thought "get to know London again..breathe it in.. "  obsessed after all..

Yeah, for me London is also connected to Sherlock and vice versa.

See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

The film that's on the telly in the background suddenly caught my attention despite being helplessly boring, with the following lines:

"I'm not gay"
"Well I am"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Don't talk out loud, you lower the IQ of the whole street!"
"Oh Watson. Nothing made me... I made me"
"Luuuuurve Ginger Nuts"
Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...
I see.
I had a moment today.
I'm doing some reading for my film class about the film we'll be watching (Charlie Chaplin's City Lights), and there's a name in my reading: Irving Adler.  You can bet your bottom dollar that for a second I thought it said Irene Adler.
Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...
I got out the alphabet soup pasta for my kids to make words with (a great literacy activity) and I got a little carried away with my own project...
It's like a pasta word cloud
My daughter started it by spelling Sherlock for me, honestly!
