I know I'm still obsessed because I when I go to my yoga class I'm supposed to clear my mind of everything and only focus on my breathing. But instead all I can think about is Sherlock, Sherlock, Sherlock. Seriously, I can't stop running scenes in my head. Then when I'm doing the poses and one becomes very difficult to hold, I remind myself that John is suffering right now too and that he would want me to hold it together and "soldier on" like he's trying to do. And so I give it that extra effort and usually make it through. He's been inspiring me. I walk straighter and have better posture now too.

I know what you mean. When I'm swimming laps I just keep running through the show. Do we need help? Oh, yeah. This forum. It's kind of an enabler, though, isn't it?

you know you are obsessed with Sherlock when....
.... you had a real bad night and can't go to work the next day because your back is hurting like hell. But you are a little bit glad about it because now you have plenty of time to watch some Sherlock episodes again and hang around in the fan forum....

That's great. I'll remember it when my yoga class starts again. Because I had the same problem when trying to relax and just thinking of a man in a tight-fitting shirt and his lovely friend in a hand-knit jumper.

That's it!
When I visited this forum for the first time my thoughts were like "Hm....It's so quiet here unlike the Russian forum where girls are really obsessed and mad. I felt sometimes awkward as everybody seemed so calm and decent here. But now I see that was false deduction of mine .
You are obsessed with Sherlock when someone bents over your computer, sees BC wallpaper and says something like "Oh, what an odd and unattractive guy!" and you turn red and green, but keep silent as the only thing you could say at that very moment is "F*** you! He's the most attractive man in the Universe and best man ever!"
Yesterday my boss came up to my working place and at seeing a BC wallpaper on my desktop said "Um... I guess that's you boyfriend?". My heart missed a beat.... *dreamy*

I have a very good friend whom I met yesterday and whom I simple cannot convert to like BC. She thinks the show's quite alright and really likes Martin but finds BC terrible. Can't for the life of me imagine why .
I love the story about your boss. What did you answer? "Yes, that's Ben. We've been very close now for some months."

*smile* And you know you'll be able to play it as well as Sherlock can, when he's impatient and pissed off about something and just starts scraunching away on the thing, as he did when he was trying to drive Mycroft out of the flat that time. *still smiling* I don't know that you need a Stradivarius for that, but hey.... whatever.
*smile* I could certainly manage that.
Not much chance of picking up a cheap Stradi unfortunately..

"Yes, that's Ben. We've been very close now for some months. He's a consulting detective and a high-functioning sociopath. Tomorrow I'm going to move to London as he lives there. And I don't care a damn about working here. I'm bored, bored, BORED!"
Actually, I said nothing and just smiled .

SusiGo maybe it's the character of Sherlock your friend doesn't like. He is, frankly, a bit of a dick isn't he.

"Yes, that's Ben, and he works as a consulting detective. He threw himself off a rooftop a few months ago, and they buried him in an old graveyard near London, but I know he's faking. John, that's his best friend, and I asked him to not be dead and to just stop all that nonsense, so I know he'll be coming round here soon....." Oh, wait a minute. Maybe that all doesn't sound so good. Ya think? *smile*

A machine, yes. But he just looks so damned good being that way!

Is he? I don't think so . Well, I explained the Asperger's thing to her and she seemed to understand him a little better. But she won't be converted to a fan, I'm afraid.

That's what John says.

And to the German speakers as well - can't open.
Have a Sherlock wallpaper, too. And SOME obviously have recognized: One day a colleague helped me to solve a problem. After he did it, he smiled and said totally surprisingly to me: Well, that was just like Sherlock, wasn't it?
I replied: Don't call out that name or I'll faint! .
Another colleague mixed the text when reading from my desktop: "'Is it not nice being me?' Ha ha, funny!"
I just could think: What is it like in your funny little brain? (no, that was mean, she is a nice one...)

I've got the July calendar from Sherlockology with Irene in the front and Sherlock lurking somewhere in the background. Already looking forward to August.
