Talking Heads

https://www.radiotimes.com/news/2020-06-09/talking-heads-alan-bennett-release-date-pictures/

"BBC One has released the first set of images from its upcoming Talking Heads revival, which sees the likes of Jodie Comer, Imelda Staunton, Tamsin Greig and Martin Freeman take on Alan Bennett’s iconic monologues. The series will begin on BBC One from 9pm on Tuesday 23rd June with a double-bill, while all 12 dramatic monologues will also be made available to watch on BBC iPlayer. The original series aired on the BBC back in the 1980s, featuring the likes of Oscar winner Maggie Smith, and was followed up with a second series airing in the 1990s."

I think this will be a must-see!  Amazing cast!

Re: Talking Heads

Nice! A must-see indeed!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?
