If even a quarter of that is true....bloody hell!
Quite like the thought of a female inspector...but I will miss Rupert!

The words "Filming in Studio" fill me with joy and dread.

All joy for me and I could do with some joy!

So could I! I also feel the worry but it's surely laced with curiosity!

I had a thought about the ' M' flag...if it is indeed that.
Could it not just be some kind of symbol like' monument', for an historical site, that possibly somebody is using as a lair?
If they are playing on the letter 'M', hey take your pick: ACD/Sherlock team seem to have a strange obsession with 'M' names: Magnussen, Martha, Mary, Moran, Moriarty, Mycroft...or more than one of them, of course.
I have also been thinking that it could have been Mary who did the Moriarty on the TV screen thing.
She certainly has the technical skill. Mycroft knows this, which is why he asks her about MI5/6?(whichever it was) security.

It is an R and a blue peacock ?
R v Peacock .

That's what I had thought, so why the whole piece on it being an 'M'?!
Peacock, hey? Interesting...
Imperial, Eastern...

Could it be another villain name from canon beginning with R? Dr Grimsby Roylott? Although, we already have a canon name for S4. And I don't know why I'm assuming it's a villain - it just looks so much like (Bond?) villain's place. And the guys with guns look like they could be his (or her) security.

Or K? I also see a K... is there a villain with that?
And something else... I just woke from the weirdest dream about season 4... which I can't explain... but it involved the boys turning into talking vegetables... A plane scene (where i had a role as an extra and was sad to realise you couldn't see me when the series aired...) something with a little girl crying or something...
Blah that was a messy dream.
Oh... and a mysterious flag hanging from Big Ben that could be seen from the plane...

I didn't see that talking vegetable twist coming!
But it's funny how you mull things over in your dreams, isn't it? I've occasionally come up with some good answers through dreams - it's like an alternative way of working things out.

Me either, I think Sherlock was the tomato...
Maybe I shouldn't have cheese before bed...

Casting call for twins (and possible explanation):
Offline
Interesting.

I've heard it's common practice to hire twins when hiring infant actors (as the article says). The ages are interesting though, especially if this is baby Watson (assuming this is definitely for Sherlock). Leaving out mind palace and flash forward and so on (which we can't rule out obviously), it would seem to mean that S4 takes place over a very long time period.
I seem to remember something from an interview somewhere about advancing the timeline at some point, because we've kind of got behind. That worked out neatly between S2 and S3, with the hiatus, but perhaps this time, they're doing two or three years over the series. Or even just over one episode?
Interesting that they specify female twins too (who would notice at that age? Possibly haircuts might be a giveaway at age 2/3). I'm also wondering if the one month old will be playing a newborn. And if so, whether the one month baby is in flashback from Ep3, or if they're adding in scenes to Ep1.
Of course, I'm assuming by the description that this is one child seen over time, but no reason why it has to be, or even why it has to be baby Watson. And it could be twins!
