Radio Play of "The Valley of Fear"

It's traditional in Norway with crime stories during Easter, and I saw today that NRK (our BBC) Radio is setting up a Radio Play of "The Valley of Fear". Not sure if it's NRK that has made adaptation or if's been done on radio before?

Also, they use this picture, anyone know if it's from a particular adaptation? Or maybe just done for the play by NRK, I'm not sure.

Re: Radio Play of "The Valley of Fear"

Probably just custom made for the play, in style of Sidney Paget illustration.

The Radio Play sounds very interesting.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?
