10 000 words as maximum? I suppose we could do something closer to that.  I was just saying 2000 because that's generally a nice length for a short one-shot.  Mine end up being in that range, but that's why I said I don't know about everyone else.  Do you tend to write stories closer to 10 000, even if they're shorter ones and not multi-chapter?

Ignore what I said earlier, then. It was clearly not realistic for everyone else.  I just took a quick look at the word counts of my stories, and the longest one is 2437 so I suppose even my own estimation was a bit low.
