I was reading about The Adventure of the Gloria Scott on Wikipedia when I came across this:
In 2005, Croatian writer Mima Simić published a short story collection entitled Pustolovine Glorije Scott (Adventures of Gloria Scott). This rather free adaptation introduces a queer parody of the Sherlock Holmes canon through the gender reversal of the protagonists: disastrous detective Gloria Scott and her faithful assistant Mary Lambert. A TV animation series based in this adaptation is under development as of 2014.
A further search provided these details:
Animated TV series The Adventures of Gloria Scott at the co-production forum Cartoon Forum in Sopot, Poland, 2011
The animated TV series project The Adventures of Gloria Scott was the only project from Croatia and the region selected, among 60 projects, for the 22nd European Cartoon Forum , a co-production forum for animation for television and new media platforms. Cartoon Forum will take place in Sopot (Poland) from 13 to 16 September 2011.
The production company behind the project is Kinematograf from Zagreb headed by the producer Dijana Mlađenović who will present the project at the Forum. The team of authors behind the project include: screenwriters Mima Simić and Jasna Žmak, author of the design and visual identity Matija Pisačić and co-director Tvrtko Rašpolić. The project was based on the motives from the eponymous cult short crime story collection by Mima Simić, in which a London detective Gloria Scott and her companion Mary Lambert solve extraordinary crime cases promptly and unexpectedly, using the most unusual methods, spiced with a lot of humor and absurd situations.
The project also received a grant from the Croatian Audiovisual Center (HAVC) for script and project development of TV series in 2010.
