I have a question that I hope some of you can answer.

Are living rooms called "living rooms" in Great Britain?  If not, what do British people call them?

I'd call it the living room.

Living room is used in British English, but also lounge, sitting room, drawing room, or front room, so you can take your pick

Well, for a house or an apartment (or flat, as the British call it), I'd go with living room.  Drawing rooms are in mansions.
