Oh heck no; do not be alarmed. Alcohol to an extent cures most things!

The side effects are not as easy to cure however.

Mycroft’s popularity doesn’t surprise me at all. He is, after all, incredibly beautiful, clever and well-dressed. And beautiful. Did I mention that?

I know what you mean. I had some moat things awhile back, and a few drops of whiskey in the water did the trick.

Re: BORED!

Saw Hugh Laurie just about an hour and forty minutes ago - very good!

Here's a clip from the previous evenings show as uploading takes an age over here:

The joke is that the voice-over is the guy who dubs 'House' in Latin America.

As for the show itself - not as tight as the album but so much nicer for watching how the band interacts. 6 very skilled artists up there who really work well together.

I'd recommend catching the show if you get a chance, if not buy the album.

Good for me as I love Louisiana/New Orleans rag time and dirge, bonus for my wife as she loves Hugh Laurie.

Re: BORED!

Funny stuff! His facial expression is so amusing. Hearing and seeing a band live 'warts and all' always has the edge, I feel, to a recorded version. Although I have been to a couple of concerts in my time where live sounded exactly the same as record and that's always left me feeling cold and somewhat cheated as they come over as soulless.

Digressing a little...I am never touching a drop of booze again! Pimms, champagne and wine did for me yesterday. Just as well I didn't come on here as I managed to put my foot well and truly in it last night. I really should learn to put my brain into gear before opening my mouth; another example of the dangers of drunk driving! (This is a metaphor folks, before you think I really got behind a steering wheel. I didn't!) I am going on the waggon.

very nice song!
I see you were BORED.. :D
This should definitely replace the original version of the song ;)
It's... sherlockified?

Oh, Davina, hungover? Alcohol is a baaad baaaaad thing, hehe...

Gosh, everyone around me is going crazy about football right now. It's driving me insane.

Re: BORED!

I HATE football but luckily no-one has been talking about it near me so I didn't even know it was on until now!

Re: BORED!

I also HATE it :/
Oh, I'm not so lucky. Nobody would shut up about it around me and it's everywhere on television and radio etc....
And when I'm like "I don't care for football" they pretty much react like John... "but it's the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP!"

Re: BORED!

You mean the woosie version of football, soccer? The one played with a round ball by overpaid lads, who crumple and dive and roll around the floor as soon as someone touches them (or not)?

I haven't ever read a better description for it...
I only watch football/soccer when Spain plays. And then I enjoy, I really do

But the thing is, we've taken away all the things that can possibly have happened, so I suppose the only thing that's left, even though it seems really weird, must be the thing that did happen, in fact. (Miss Marple)

Re: BORED!

Oh! The one where 20 men run around chasing the ball on the grass and then 2 other men try and stop the others kicking it into those net things at either end.

Nice song by the way Molly!

Haha! Ooooh, they really love rolling around!
Alright, Irene, then I know who to support when Germany and England drop out.. ;)

Hmm... not really the right season, but how about:

On the first day of Christmas,
my true love gave to me
a high-functioning sociopath for me!

On the second day of Christmas,
my true love gave to me
two bloody murders
and a high-functioning sociopath for me!

etc. ;)
I have to go now but might think of some more :D
