Oh ladies. What can I say about Mr. Barrowman.
When he struted out in that dress and heels I thought I would die!
At one point he walked over to one of the audio techs and drapped himself over his shoulders saying "Hi, I'm the Tardis. I've had the Doctor in me. Would you like to help save the world and come inside me too?"
Someone ask if his husband Scott would be similarly dressed when he came out later. John replied "oh no, Scottie won't be in a dress. We couldn't find one long enough to cover his..........ya know."
He is everything you could want in a convention guest. He is funny and warm and open. Would do just about anything for a fan and is obviously having as much fun as we were. He was scheduled for some fan photos later that afternoon and ask us if he should change or keep the dress on. Of course we demanded he keep the dress on.
It was absolutly the highlight of my weekend.

LOL! I wish I could see him live just once. Someone that entertaining and open... brilliant.

That sounds like a lot of fun! It's great that you had a good time, and thanks for sharing that anecdote with us.
But how were the other panels/events you went to?

Oh my god….. (plus, dang he walks well in heels!!)
So jealous, and happy with, and wondering if you got a fan photo, and knew I wanted to see my favorite BBC shows actors at cons if ever I could, but want to see John even more now!

Sadly I did not get a fan picture with JB. And yes, he can work those heels! I can't walk at all in heels that high!

Well, he was in La Cage aux Folles so if he couldn't walk in heels before that, that would certainly be the reason why he can now.

Atlanta is home to a wonderful organization called The Atlanta Radio Theatre Company. They do all sorts of works. Classics, SciFi, Horror, many of them original creations. They often perform at Cons in the south.
The man on the right in the shades is not only very talented but also an old dear friend of mine, Brad Strickland. We met because he was my favorite professor at Uni.

Nice to see there's a nice mix of age groups who were there. There's kids, adults, older adults.
