Re: The Big Special Picture Thread (spoilers)

Well that's the one I was certainly thinking of...
I think I just see Mycroft and Sherlock, is that right?

Re: The Big Special Picture Thread (spoilers)

Yes Ivy . When the camera pulls out look between Sherlocks fingers and you see the whole room from above. I might be seeing shapes in shadows or inkblots but it does look like a person on the floor to me.

That's the only gif of that scene that I saw on tumblr.

Re: The Big Special Picture Thread (spoilers)

This is the scene you are speaking about, Moth.

To me it seems they are there alone.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Thank you for those gifs though, nakahara. Somewhere on the forum there was a short discussion about that scene and that the person sitting next to Sherlock might be Victor Trevor. But those gifs make pretty clear (for me) that it has to be Mycroft... he is holding the list in his hands...

What are you insinuating with that gesture, Professor?

And when he says how surprisingly comfortable Sherlock's bed is - that was creepily homoerotic. *fanning self*

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

Re: The Big Special Picture Thread (spoilers)

Can I just say that Andrew has a real Victorian look in TAB? That b/w gif is a good example. His look actually convinces me most.

Re: The Big Special Picture Thread (spoilers)

I think they all fitted into the Victorian look very well.
I agree about Andrew...but I may just be biased!

Re: The Big Special Picture Thread (spoilers)

LOVE. The world "love" - ISHQ - is derived from the root "´-sha-qa", reffering to a plant from the ivy family, whose main characteristics dwells in the fact, that it winds itself around other plants and dries them by blocking their circulation. Ishq is a disease. Those affected by this disease see only one face and have only one hope: to attain that face. Thus, the lover feels an intensity of passion and is blinded to the failings of the object loved.
