Aww.... maybe he can't sleep not just from the typical thinking-too-much thing, but irritability from a unproductive case he had to take a long flight for, and the people on the flight were thoroughly annoying and couldn't get any rest or thinking done there, either.....

I really don't like crossovers, but that is hilarious!

Same with me. Poor Martin. Sherlock is even worse than Douglas.

I can't get that picture out of my brain...I am literally fighting with myself to only write one fanfic at a time, but there's something so poetic about that image I can't shake it. (Just like the one where they are hugging and Sherlock's face is tucked against John's neck.) It needs words....
Well, for me it doesn't need any words - and that's exactly the point of this beautiful art.....
Maybe I would think different if I were a writer.

For me it is perfect without words.

It seems that a lot of fic authors are fascinated by that motif of the boys sharing a bed in such a curled up position. For me personally it means lots of different things, first of all feeling safe and secure, totally trusting each other, sharing every last thing, being there for one another, having found the one person you never want to let go of again and you don't want to see anything bad happening to... And this picture captures all of this and so much more... combining this with what happened in the show so far makes it probably even more powerful. Of course the picture could take place at any time, but I'd like to believe it's right after Sherlock's return... very romantic, I know...
And Russell, that pic is killing me, it's so brilliant!

I concur , it's as though you can feel the love in the picture...and that makes a piece of artwork even more wonderful when you can truly feel all the emotion it conveys, not just see it...

Listening to Cabin Pressure everyday on the way home from work right now. Sherlock would reduce Martin to a puddle of tears.

He absolutely would...poor Martin!

Interesting idea. Benedict should do a special in which he plays both.

*high fives Susi* Excellent idea! I think Martin should guest on Sherlock and he and Molly should fall madly in love!

Might be possible. Martin has the lighter hair so it's not like we'd get confused. And having both him and Sherlock on screen at the same time is possible these days.
Why am I thinking so much about this?
