I don't know which of the explanations I like best.
Maybe this one: She had a bad day b/c they misspelled her name in Starbucks and so she took it out on Sherlock but that happens to the best of us
Or this?
She is CLEVER and knew exactly where to shoot where he might die but also come back to life (it’s b/c she likes Frankenstein and she’s seen Twilight when Bella dies when she gives birth and then she comes back to life SO THAT CAN HAPPEN!!!!)
Hm.... no, I think this one wins (together with the graphic, of course):
She clearly told Sherlock not to take a step forward and HE DID so IT WAS HER RIGHT TO SHOOT HIM....

Brilliant arguments. I believe every single one of them, what about you?

Sure! How could one have a doubt? Oh Mary.....

Personally, I was quite persuaded by the "earthquake" argument. If you remember correctly, the moment Sherlock was shot the flower in the background moved, which means there were powerful microvibrations from the earthquake in the room. And so Mary´s hand shaked and the bullet she shot into his leg ended up in his chest. Such an unfortunate accident! And poor Mary - she was reviled as a murderer while the real murderer was the power of the natural forces residing deep in the Earth...
