That sounds very much like emp to me! :-D
I was wondering if it was the spy/secret agent/Bond genre. It has been referenced before, but they haven't really gone for it.

You might be right.
I noticed especially during TEH that the authors are inexplicably trying to cram James Bond storyline into a Sherlock Holmes story. Maybe they will fully go for it now? (not something I am a fan of, but....)
Also, as we know from setlock, there is some action taking place near MI6 building...

I'm just bringing the Czech trailer over here from the Johnlock speculation thread, as I think it's of interest beyond the Johnlock aspect!
Setlock spoilers in this link:
Very exciting! I actually prefer the original trailers, as this is a bit to fast-paced for me. But some interesting views of things.
My first crack theory is that it's John with the "Miss Me" CD - he staged Moriarty's "return", to get Sherlock off the hook, and to keep his mind busy. The more I think of it, the more I think it fits in with all sorts of things! Except that I can also see lots of evidence against it - I really don't think it's the sort of thing that John would do (we can see how awkward he is about a similar subterfuge when he tries to get Sherlock out on a case in TSOT!). I would have said it was Mary, but I don't think it's her hand with the CD.
I'm not sure it's Mary as a nurse, either (although it makes a kind of sense, as Mary IS a nurse). If it is, her face is very shadowed. I still have a feeling this might be mind palace. But could it be Culverton trying to drive Sherlock insane?
I'd mentioned in the other thread, that I have speculated about there being a villain that we already know but don't suspect, perhaps even Sherlock himself for a time. That would fit with John punching Sherlock - although again, this looks like it could be mind palace. (And I think it's more likely to be Mycroft who is the surprise villain, but we'll see).
I want the writing to say "licenced to kill", but I can't make that first letter a "c", no matter how hard I try!
We can definitely see the house with the exploding car is not the Diogenes club or Mycroft's house.
The wall behind Mycroft exploding - I wonder if this is mind palace. That's our dear queen who is exploding there, which seems to indicate either an attack on Mycroft's heart, or that he's the villain. Could also be that there's a secret safe there, being blown open. But somehow it doesn't look real to me.
Who is behind Sherlock when he is being shot?
I'm curious about what Sherlock is looking at above him in the shot before he falls near the beginning. There aren't many people significantly taller than him.
What are your thoughts?

I go to sleep and wake up to this... So sleep is out the next couple of weeks!
This is getting more and more intense, and I'm starting to skim over both posts and videoes as I fear we are getting into too spoiler-y territory for me now. But I can't wait to see these scenes in context!

About the nurses: I think it is definitely mind palace AND very probably Mary. My idea is the Sherlock at some point of his life had a traumatic experience in connection with nurses/hospitals/doctors. Now we have Mary, the nurse, who "took away" John from him and shot and nearly killed him. The fact that she is a nurse is anchored in his subconscious, it is mentioned in TAB as well. So I think it very plausible that she might appear in this vision/hallucination/MP scene dressed in this old-fashioned uniform as a symbol of threat.
The way the nurses are dressed points to either MP or a memory or both since they are not dressed like this these days.

Oh, thank for taking it here!
The wall exploding behind Mycroft is definitely somebody's imagination since Mycroft is exploding too but not like a person would explode, more like a pane of glass. I think it's Sherlock making a connection to... something. Maybe Mycrof is the villain after all (the reptile comment) or they make everybody believe he is (he could arrange for the Miss Me video to be broadcasted to save Sherlock all right).

Yes, the more I look at it, the less it looks like a "real" explosion. Probably Sherlock's imagination. Does it mean that Mycroft secretly wants to blow up the queen? Or somebody else does?
The thing that is odd about nurse-Mary (if it be she) is that she's just one of a group, whereas I see Mary as a solo operator, both at work and in Sherlock's imagination. If it is her, she looks a lot more sinister than the nurse in front.
Just another point - we seem to be seeing both a bust of Thatcher and a photo of her. I'm sure we were told it was paintings, so why the bust? Is it just a nice reference to The Six Napoleons? Or something else? Is the photo actually a painting? Or are we going to see different images of Thatcher, and if so, why?

...Aaaand the trailer's been pulled.
I'm glad I saved the file this time. Here's the dl link until somebody figures out how to upload it to a streaming service again.

Remember that John needs very little provocation to lash at Sherlock.
I am strongly reminded of "You won´t need morphine!" scene watching this part of the trailer. In that HLV segment, John was also prepared to hit Sherlock hard and was not at all concerned about Sherlock´s weakened state and injury there. So why would he be concerned now?
Therefore, my theory is: Sherlock told John some unpleasant truth and John retaliated violently, taking out his anger on Sherlock, maybe blaming him for his misery.
But, because we see two people standing behind John in the scene, the whole thing could also be staged for their benefit and it´s possible, John just pretends to hit Sherlock.

They pulled it already? LOL!

Sue apparently made a tweet about foreign trailers being too spoilery, and for fans to be careful with them

Oh come on. It's not like something yellow press found on the cutting room floor. It's just a trailer and not any more spoilery that the BBC ones, I think.

It´s normal trailer from Czech state television that will be broadcasted every day in prime time from now on.
Nothing illegal, nor done without the permission of the authors.
If fans of one coutry can be bombarded with it every day from now on, certainly it won´t hurt if fans from other countries will glimpse it too.
Also, there´s one feature that I love about this trailer - no queerbaiting. No fake "I love you´s" to raise our expectations to make it crash later. Just action.

I agree, and people are free to choose what to watch and what not to watch, according to how spoiled they want to be.
Maybe a weird choice, but I am trying to avoid the tracklist from the CD, but I loved this trailer...

Maybe but I'm upset that I went against Sue's wishes. I have deep respect towards the whole crew working on that wonderful show. It's the first time I'm doing this, since I'm new to the fandom and Iasn't aware of the "protocol"
Anyway, what's done is done and the video has been pulled out. But I might get away from tumblr a bit I think. I'll see.
*Edit : Thank you guys for trying to make me feel better *grouphug*
But you couldn´t have known about these wishes beforehand, could you? Since she only warned about foreign trailers after the deed was done. And the trailer is really official, not something leaked from dubious sources.
So don´t worry. (hug)

I don't mind spoilers (as long as it's not like a synopsis of the whole episode) and actually quite enjoy little ones or clips like the Czech trailer where it's still not exactly clear what happens and we can speculate and theorise (although sometimes I end up spending hours analysing points that probably turn out completely different in the context of the episode but oh well) but for people who do not want to be spoiled at all this time must be crazy, I think they're literally going to have to stay off the internet until January!
Going back to the trailer, I was hoping the scene from the UK trailer with John pushing Sherlock was a kind of "snap out it" moment but now it seems like John is actually angry!
The trailer has definitely got me more excited for TLD!

At this point I feel like I know so little about S4 despite having followed Setlock and all that I don't even know how I could be spoiled.
I had a pretty nasty Doctor Who spoiler before the last series that I really regretted. I was basically told how, when and where a main character would be killed off. I was so upset!
I've had nothing of that with Sherlock.
