Thought she was meant to be his daughter?

Niece or daughter, it seems the connection between them is more and more real.

I noticed that the shots of the discs were different too. Same handwriting but definitely differences between the two so it looks like two different discs.
I don't want to admit how long I've been looking at photos of people's hands to try and work out who's thumb it is...

Ooh that's interesting, maybe there is a scene that they didn't even want to show the press as it is such a big surprise.

That both scares and excites me!

What could it be???

I'm still wondering about if they'll do something that looks like a separate news bulletin, or similar. Or maybe a section of Culverton Smith's TV show - it could start as if he's doing the show, then Sherlock and John walk in "on air" and "end him". (How, I don't know! They do have a habit of actually killing off their villains! Norbury got off lightly). I was thinking of some sort of media thing like this for the end of TFP, but maybe they'll do it here.

"Quick man, if you love me"
perhaps?

I wouldn't mind. :-D

That would be nice after the state of their relationship at the end of TST!

It would be lovely if the series ends on a high, but I don't think so.

Why not? Sherlock has saved John in every season finale so far. He'll definitely manage again

I'm just trying to work out what kind of end point they could take us to.

The boys retired to the country to bring up Rosie?
I am all for Johnlock but we've just seen how "well" family life agrees with John... I don't know what I want to see anymore.

I just don't think it's either going to be that cosy or happy, anyway.

If Johnlock doesn't happen (which I don't think it will), I am not sure how happy an ending we can have. We have seen all through the series that
a) John wants a romantic/sexual relationship (with women)
b) he is unable to keep (or be happy in) such a relationship as long as Sherlock is around
So if they are not interested in a romantic relationship with each other, is John then doomed to be "forever alone" if he wants to remain friends with Sherlock?

I know this doesn't usually happen with men...
But if John is so traumatised by the loss of Mary, he may go off relationships.
I just hope he realises his best friend is there for him.
Yet I still get this horrible feeling our boys are going to be apart, at the end of the series.

It happened with my boyfriend, actually... (obviously until he met me) his break with his ex was so traumatic he never, ever wanted to date again... and he broke my heart pretty badly until a few things changed.
I have a bad fear that you're right though, Besley... I fear how it will all end...
