There's already a clip up on the PBS website: here.
Charlie Rose should be a good interview--he's very interested in the way actors work, so he generally asks them good questions.

Oh great, I love those interviews they are so private.
EDIT: but his jacket, OMG

Nice interview. Did he really say Sherlock was slash fiction? That will make some people very happy! It sounds more like "slasher fiction" to me, so I'm not sure if I'm clear about what he's saying - or what he intended to say! But it gave me a laugh, anyway. What does it sound like to you?

Sounded like slash fiction. And in the same breath he was calling Steven and Mark fanboys so it is very possible he said that.

Listening again, I think he says "slasher", meant to say "slash" but doesn't actually know what the word means (or it was a slip of the tongue): "... it is in a way, it's a form of slasher fiction, which is a fan phenomenon...") Considering how he's denied that it's slash, I think he means "fan fiction"! Or maybe this is the big reveal .

Oh, this. I think it's pretty clear that he means the show is fan fiction--which, of course, it is. (As Moftiss have said more than once!)

Yes, I think either he doesn't know what slash fiction is and thought it was another word for fan fiction, or possibly the wrong word came out as he was speaking. I don't think he really believes it's slash. But it is kind of amusing!

I couldn't watch it on Hulu (doesn't work in my country) but I did see it on the PBS link that was provided.
Thanks again for putting me on to this. Remarkable interview - one of CR's best I think. BC was so relaxed and I think he really renjoyed talking to Rose on that show.
Loved the whole interview from start to finish.
Made my day!

You are very welcome--I thought it was excellent, too.
It was a real conversation, unlike most of Benedict's interviews, and yeah, I think he really enjoyed himself, his thanks at the end was a few notches up from the usual. (And Rose doesn't usually give such specific requests for return visits on air, either. :D)
