Tilda Swinton had a conversation with Margaret Cho about the "whitewashing" of her role in Doctor Strange

I loved this movie so much that I saw it 4 times ! I thought it was a pure Marvel movie, better than the last ones. I can't wait to see Doctor Strange in Thor 3 and Avengers Infinity !

Oh Mads!
He is such a doll! (Pun intended) I'm so glad I met him at the gala premiere! You should have seen him when some fans gave him a crocheted Kaecilius! He was so excited

I wonder... how did they make the dog limp?

Sob.

I'm sure no animals were harmed. I just want to know how they came by a limping doggie - did they train it or find one with a limp?
Also, the doggie looked very much like very unshaved Strange

I have heard of dogs pretending to limp for treats before... so I'm pretty sure it was fine... but it was a sweetie! Shame they didn't keep that scene!

=14pxSo, why did this very adorable moment meet with a grand disappearing act from the final cut? We got the skinny from Strange=14px director Scott Derrickson =14px: "The scene was working against the character arc of Strange being egotistical and self-absorbed."
I mean: really?

I know.

Oh that scene with the dog is so adorable!
To be honest I can see why they cut it out, at that point I think they were still going for Strange as being self involved and only looking for a way to help himself. I think it was too early in the story and his character arc to show him helping something/someone else with no reward for him. Even without that scene I didn't hate Strange though so, for me at least, it wasn't necessary.

Yeah, I really didn't see him as that bad to be honest.
Or maybe it was just obvious he was going to be transformed...
