Schmiezi, coffee in here? You should know better by now.

But to John's defense: only the narrator does it

(An annoying habit of some writers. I don't like "the detective/the doctor" and also not "the younger/older man" for them, esp not when they've already entered the bed or bathtub  )

Re: hOOray it's (adult) mOnday!

I don´t remember, if we already had this fic in this thread, but it definitely deserves a place of honour in this thread, for having a beautiful smut in every chapter, for example in the very first one.

The Study in Winning by Jupiter_Ash

http://archiveofourown.org/works/366788/chapters/596177

In chapter 1, the scene begins with "Now, if you´re quite prepared".... and ends with "and let go."

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

A poetic one in

The Measure of a Gentleman by i_ship_an_armada

Sherlock shuddered hard; ... by John’s feet.

What a lovely Regency O.
