Point of clarification, well as far as I know!
I thought the building Benedict lived in was divided into 2 flats.
Quite possibly. I just pieced a few interviews together and got the impression that he was in a condominum type setting with a few other flats besides his two. He must really like where he lives to have done all that work instead of just buying a bigger place!

My first, and probably not last, vow.
Benedict Cumberbatch, I will love you for the rest of my life.

Lol, I first watched a couple of other celebrities taking Ice Bucket Challenge and of course he outdid them all. It was epic and funny but what I appreciated most is that he actually didn't forget what the whole challenge is about: he explained it clearly and even took pains to put w written explanation where and how to donate. No one else did it, as far as I saw (of course I only watched only few clips).

Sorry if someone explained it already, the thread exploded - the formula on his t-shirt is Stephen Hawking's formula about the entropy of black holes. How very thoughtful of him to choose that t-shirt.

I'm still a bit lost for words, I just came home and well... what a great treat to come home to! This man... is killing me. In a pretty wonderful way.

Oh… my… god… I'm dead. d-e-d. Neighbors must think I'm torturing an owl.
Tom's and Luke's were awesome (especially as some people frustratingly don't even mention much of what the challenge is for like they did (and like miriel said), or rock it as much/be such great sports). But Ben…. I really shouldn't be surprised that Ben went the extra mile and was freaking EPIC. Amazing person through and through. Absolutely love the mental picture of him and best buddy Adam bantering about this and having a riot planning/filming it out (I know, I'm just guessing here! But since Adam tweeted about it for and thought might be with/be involved)
And besley - no worries, I understood what it was about (basically creating a viral sensation/stunt to spur disease awareness and donations, while simulating/creating sympathy with said stunt to relate to the pain ALS gives your nerves, like freezing cold water) but I still found the whole thing a little weird/cliche (and what a waste of water!) despite being happy for ALS/MND they raised so much. (and wishing certain other diseases not given as much attention as the 'typical' ones could get a viral thing like that going, but eh).
I'll just go back to adoring Ben's charitable awesomeness some more….
(edit - Oh, thanks Susi! Cool! And Solar! You're not helping!!!)

Just sent the video to my sister.
Her only comment: "super!"
I knew one of us is adopted.
