The reason I’m asking is that I have a remarkable collection of Jeremy Brett photos from the Granada series. Considering, there some on this board, who like myself, are fans of both BBC’s Sherlock as well as Brett they might be interested in seeing some of these pictures.
So with your permission can I post some of these pictures?

Of course you can. You do not have to open another thread for this. You can simply change the title of this one accordingly so it does not get too crowded.

Thanks you very much, SusiGo.
I will begin by posting this picture and if I get any feedback I will continue post more and more.

I decided to throw in a few more to start too. Here are some shots of Jeremy with David Burke, who was the first actor to play Dr. Watson in the series but he would later be replaced by Edward Hardwicke. My apologies for the picture size I know quite a few of them are large.

“The provocation with Holmes is the fact that he's described by Doyle as a man without a heart - all brain... and that's very difficult to play, or even indicate.” - Jeremy Brett

It has been said Jeremy's Holmes looked like the one you saw in the original Sidney Pagnet drawings, especially in the beginning of the series.

‘To me, the Sherlock Holmes stories are about a great friendship. Without Watson, Holmes might well have burnt out on cocaine long ago. I hope the series shows how important friendship is.”- Jeremy Brett
