Sherlocked in Germany

Hello i am another Sherlockian from Germany!
I watched the Series a month ago-for the first time and loved it from the start.
Especially the acting of Benedict Cumberbatch- the way he performs "Sherlock"- gorgeous!
I love him and - of course - the whole series.
And i can`t wait until 2014

Best wishes - Wusel

Re: Sherlocked in Germany

The dubbed or the original version? The original is paramount.

Re: Sherlocked in Germany

Hello Wusel

Welcome! I'm from Germany, too and absolutely crazy for Sherlock. I'm hearing the soundtrack and dreaming.

I'm also sad that I have to wait so long for new episodes. But I'm so happy that Benedict continues.

Viele Grüße

Re: Sherlocked in Germany

Welcome to the forum, Wusel!
I suppose you watched the rerun of Hounds that was shown by the ARD, right? I agree with gently, in case you haven't done so yet, you most definitely have to watch the show in the original version. You'll find it to be even more amazing.

Yes, they certainly are... we're talking about the english language version. With Benedict's real voice, you know...

That is, the sound. The visuals are in German no matter what...
However, I like the German DVDs as there is a choice between dubbed and original.
