Once I found here a thread with songs that you associate with Sherlock. I can't find it anymore.
Could you please help me?

So here is my love song for Sherlock. This is from the 80s. One of my favourite bands - THE CURE. A crazy and fast song, but the lyrics are so right for Mr. Holmes as you can see:
Why can't I be you
You're so gorgeous I'll do anything!
I'll kiss you from your feet
To where your head begins!
You're so perfect!
You're so right as rain!
You make me
Make me hungry again
Everything you do is irresistible
Everything you do is simply kissable
Why can't I be you?
I'll run around in circles
'Til I run out of breath
I'll eat you all up
Or I'll just hug you to death
You're so wonderful!
Too good to be true!
You make me
Make me hungry for you
Everything you do is simply delicate
Everything you do is quite angelicate
Why can't I be you?
You turn my head when you turn around
You turn the whole world upside down
I'm smitten I'm bitten I'm hooked I'm cooked
I'm stuck like glue!
You make me
Make me hungry for you
Everything you do is simply dreamy
Everything you do is quite delicious
Why can't I be you?
Why can't I be you?
Why can't I be you?
You're simply elegant!

Yeah! Happy
Yesterday, I eventually got the Sherlock-DVD and looked a part of "Reichenbach". And you are all so right: Benedict's real voice is much more sexier than the synchronisation.

I dreamt of Sherlock last night, at last!
But I can't remember accurately the plot.
Only that we were a group of persons who had to search something.
Oh, Sherlock, my beloved Sherlock.

I have two stupid questions for you (sorry, I'm an absolut beginner)....
1.) What means Johnlock? Is this like to be "sherlocked"?
2.) What is the meaning of the word "(to) ship"? You know, I am German. But when I translate this word there's no sense.....
Thank you for your help!

I can only explain it in German..sorry..
JOHNLOCKED heisst soviel :Ich glaube daran, dass John und Sherlock mehr sind als bloss Kollegen/Freunde.
To ship...
Etwas "glauben"...sozusagen folgen ;)
Hoffe du verstehst was ich meine lach

Hello bored! Welcome!
Well, I'm not sure of the German explanation… lol. But both your questions are quite related… yes, you can be quite Sherlocked and love the show/books/anything related. But those into 'Johnlock' are the fans who love to imagine John and Sherlock being together. It ties into the term 'ship', which is a very common/popular pop culture/internet/slang term now, short for a 'romantic relationship'. As in, 'I love Sherlock and Molly together! I ship them!' Pretty much all fandom favorite 'ships'/pairings do that name mash-up thing, which is where you get Johnlock. And Sherlolly, Mystrade, Sheriarty, etc etc…

I'm depressed today. Sad.
Could anyone send me a nice Sherlock-pic?

Sorry to hear that? What about this? I love black and white.

Thank you so much. It is fantastic. Black and white is perfect. That fits right to Mr. Holmes. Touches my heart... Maybe it will be a good night.

Feeling very down and lonely.
It is the second time I disgraced myself here in this forum.
I'm very nervous and in confusion.
Am I too idealistic? I thought, this is a place I would be accepted for my childish amorousness? I guess you are a little bit severe... Where shall I live out my desire if not here?

Welcome!
Do you still worry about that silly article? Don't!
If you liked that article, fair enough. It's just not really flattering for Benedict and that was the reason a few other users felt like commenting on it.
Don't take it to heart, it's all fine.

Oh thank you so much, eurydike. I wrote this in the morning. Felt so down and at work I had palpitations. When I came home I was very afraid. But when I read all your answers, I felt a little bit assuaged that the critic wasn't for me but for the newspaper writer. Later I will write a few lines about this. But at first I wanted to thank you for giving me courage.
