So moving. Just can't imagine what it was like living through those days. Thanks God we don't face anything like it today, I don't know whether as a country we would cope!

Though sadly we still have wars.

And we would cope. Prior to WWll veterans of the First World War stated that 'the younger generation' were too soft etc. to fight a war for 'King and Country'. How wrong they were proved. War is a terrible, terrible thing.
