If they do a one-off special, what should it be about?

Obviously, it can’t be a Christmas special as we’ve already got Sherlock during Christmastime in “A Scandal in Belgravia” and “His Last Vow.” It is possible that they could do a Halloween-themed one considering that they haven’t done a reinterpretation of “The Sussex Vampyre” yet. However, I tend to think that they could do one that revolves around some of the supporting characters like Mycroft or Lestrade. They could do one in which Mycroft has to deal with an international crisis or one in which Lestrade has to solve a case on his own.

What idea would you have if they did a special?

Moffat said at the Apple store cast interview that he wanted to do a show where "Lestrade solves nothing" (emphasis his). That would be hilarious.

Don't know about Halloween. I thought that was just a US/Canadian thing.

John: That's clever. So you scratch their backs and...
Sherlock: Yes. And then disinfect myself.

I think it should take place AFTER S4.  They should come up with some setting, scene that will make us crazy with curiosity and then S4 will go back and show us how they got to that point.

I actually would love to see that. XDDDD

I can just see at the end of the special, these words: two years earlier.

Or at least, six months earlier.

But if our curiousity was roused up that way, the hiatus and waiting for S4 would be unbearable!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

That is what they do, isn't it?

Yes, I´m afraid. They just love to torture us!

Brilliant idea, tonnaree! You should twitter this to Mark.

Of course my ideal for the scene would involve John walking out of Sherlock's bedroom in nothing but a sheet.  *giggle*
