Here in San Francisco, the local public TV station (KQED) is
going to get Sherlock crazed beginning this week. Wow! In
addition to *finally* broadcasting Sherlock Series 2 soon,
they are sprinkling in lots of Jeremy Brett. Should be
a great May. Hooray!! schedule:
Fri Apr 20 - Adventures of SH - The Solitary Cyclist
Fri Apr 27 - Adventures of SH - The Crooked Man
Fri May 4 - Adventures of SH - The Speckled Band
Sun May 6 - Masterpiece Mystery - BBC Sherlock - A Scandal In Belgravia
Fri May 11 - Adventures of SH - The Blue Carbuncle
Sun May 13 - Masterpiece Mystery - BBC Sherlock - The Hounds of Baskerville
Fri May 18 - Adventures of SH - The Copper Beeches
Sun May 20 - Masterpiece Msytery - BBC Sherlock - The Reichenbach Fall
Fri May 25 - Adventures of SH - The Greek Interpreter
I haven't yet seen all of these (though we can guess which ones I *have*
seen lately..), so it will make for some fun viewing! Looking
forward to the choice of stories, the back-to-back differences,
and those Sunday nights ahead!

How fantastic for you over there. It'll cure you of any SDS- Sherlock Deprivation Sydrome.
P.S Can we have some of your sun please? It's nasty and rainy here
Offline
Ha! Yes, gladly sending some sun your way!
It's been a very rainy spring, even extremely rare lightning
strikes the other day, kind of exciting actually. But waiting
for the rains to stop soon I hope, and pick up again in the fall..
Someone got a great photo:
So, let the Sherlock month begin-
After that marathon set of shows, looking forward to hearing
that Sherlock sweeps BAFTA awards 5/27? we hope. would
be a nice finale to the month, don't you think? SDS cure, indeed.
I do think at least in the U.S. there will be an upswing of fandom
as more people discover Sherlock with these Series 2 broadcasts.
I definitely will be letting my local station know I appreciate it!
