Re: Let's talk all things lovely about Ben...

Oh, what a perfect news! I can´t wait!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Looking forward to the 30th.  Going to the cinema to see Ben as Creature in Frankenstien.

Re: Let's talk all things lovely about Ben...

Hahaha that's cute!

Today I had a random squeling session outside the cinema with my friend... (first we saw the Hunger Games posters) but then I noticed 2 posters that really caught my eye...

Penguins and The Hobbit!

Then my friend and I had a session of trying to say 'pengwing'

Oh, and my friend and I have started co-writing (well right now co-plotting) a new fantasy franchise. She's creating the world and I'll be doing a love of the crime scene and mystery scenes... aaaand I get to write about two of the main characters, one of which will be written with Benedict in mind; should it ever be filmatized.
It'll be cooler than it sounds... it's not a fan fic btw... it's in no way based on him... but well, I'm attempting to write the character so he would love to play it.

I actually have high hopes for this...

Re: Let's talk all things lovely about Ben...

My co-worker pissed me off yesterday...

She brought up Ben (granted I guess I do post a bit about him on Facebook...). Out of the blue she tells me she can't see what I see in him, because he's ugly and not sexy...

I know he isn't typically sexy, and it took a while to 'get used to' him for me before I got Benaddicted... but...

She knows I'm going to see him live in London and she actually seriously warned me not to lose my mind there; jump on stage in the middle of the play or stalk him all over London.
I LOVE Ben... but honestly?? What the heck.

I would NEVER ruin any play for any actor or audience... honestly, that's just sick.
And I actually think I would have respect enough to leave him alone if I did meet or see him when he was 'off duty'. That's a principle of mine and has been when I've seen celebrities around... even people who are my idols.

just... GRR

Re: Let's talk all things lovely about Ben...

And I read that the trailer will include The Hollow Crown... let's hope that they'll only include shows that will air next year.

Re: Let's talk all things lovely about Ben...

Sherlock hasn't even been filmed yet.
So it woiuld be old footage anyway.

Re: Let's talk all things lovely about Ben...

If anyone is interested ... that's what Benedict recited in this trailer:

Official Shakespeare Transcript:
All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms.
Then, the whining school-boy with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then, a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden, and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then, the justice,
In fair round belly, with a good capon lined,
With eyes severe, and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws, and modern instances,
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
As You Like It
-Act II Scene VII
