Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I already wondered why they interwove the "idyllic" Christmas scene with the dark Baker Street scene but this makes perfect sense to me. It very much undermines the forgiveness as we are constantly reminded of what happened between the three of them.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Is John trying to give Sherlock a hint?  "Come and get your love"?

God damn.. and here are the tears again...
Isn't it strange...
The so cold stone hearted sociopath only got tears for a men who's " only " his friend.
I never believed that those men are only friends or brothers from a diverent mother.

Well, I hadn't seen that before. Wow, loved the music, and the lyrics, say something, I'm giving up on you. *looks over at torn-out heart on the floor*  Were there ever two men who belonged together as much as John and Sherlock?  And can we imagine our Sherlock without the voice, face and body of the gorgeous, talented, dedicated-to-his-craft Benedict Cumberbatch?  Pure magic.  Kudos to the vidder, whoever they are.

Yes, it is quite extraordinary

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

General question for my fellow Johnlockers.

How do you respond to fans who make a great deal of the fact that Molly is so active in Sherlock's mind palace and John is no where to be seen?  I have heard this many time sas evidance of canon Sherlloy.

Not into Johnlock, but i see like this: Molly is the representative of science, Mycroft of logic, Moriarty of the dark side of the brilliant mind. So when he needs to focus in his mind palace, he takes their figures. John is more "his heart", appeals to his sentiments and emotionality, conect him with the outside world. When Irene is in his mind palace, Sherlock send her away and continues with his thinking, when John comes in, he gets out of the palace and is back to the reality.

But when he makes deductions, he communicates them through John to the outside world, like when he was with Molly in TEH but continues to speak with John in his mind and even calls Molly John.

I have to admit I haven´t thought about the mind palace specifically before, but your explanation sounds really good to me, it makes totally sense to me and it works very well either you´re into Johnlock or not.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yes, I like that idea very much.

John is definetely Sherlock's heart.  And in the mind palace scene I think that's where he was trying to go when he ran into Mary in her wedding gown.

I read a long post on Tumblr yesterday that claimed to prove that sherlolly is canon.  Just couldn't see it but I guess that's how some people feel when they read the case for johnlock.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Good explanation, A lovely light!
Also what is important is that in that scene Sherlock gets all the help and hints from Molly, Mycroft and even Anderson, but the reason why he in fact finally survives is John.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Well put, Matt.

Anderson is also an important part of the mind palace scene, but no-one considers that a prove for Anderlock (). So why should Molly's presence hint at something?
