Sorry, Susi, didn't mean to upset you... so have a look at this. At that point there was no turning back anymore:

After the events of this weekend, both personal and global, I need all the Johnlock I can get.

I, President of the OSAJ, here by official declare this a Johnlock Holiday.  Members, it is your scared duty to Johnlock as aggressively as you can, where ever you can.

Let's light this forum up with rainbows and glitter!!!!  Make me proud ladies.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Btw, before anyone starts quoting Mark Gatiss' tweet (a fan said they would die if Johnlock did not become Canon in S4) and he answered RIP):
It is not in very good taste to tell him this one day after Orlando. And was bad taste as well to answer like that. But it is IMO also very stupid to tell the writers these things at all. What do people expect? That he will say "yes, this is exactly what is going to happen"?

Just wanted to mention it here before it pops up in another thread.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Good selection, tonnaree!

I will add "Er gehört zu mir" (He belongs to me), a German classic.
And the 1920s "Lila Lied" or "Lilac Song" which is a classic as well.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I'd like to add
"Walking on sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves
as well as
"Our of the frying Pan and into the fire" by Meat Loaf because I always imagine John and Sherlock having sex to it. :-D

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I want to add "Real love" by the Beatles.
My headcanon: I discovered it before S3 but I knew already that Mary Morstan would be introduced. I imagined this song at the end of episode 1, when Sherlock and John have met each other again but live apart. I imagined cuts between Sherlock alone in 221b and finally using again and the "happy couple" at their suburban home, being happy and smiling, maybe dancing.

(Little did I know that we would never get such a scene of happiness with them.)

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.

"If you're not reading the subtext then hell mend you"  -  Steven Moffat
"Love conquers all" Benedict Cumberbatch on Sherlock's and John's relationship
"This is a show about a detective, his best friend, his wife, their baby and their dog" - Nobody. Ever.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I saw something on tumblr and was wondering what Mark had said.  Thank you Susi.  Yes, it was in poor taste of Mark but, as you said, why do fans say such things to the creators??

Now, crank the music up and dance!

Sexyback by Justin Timberlake
Fever by Adam Lambert
(a particular favorite of mine for johnlock.  Here's the fanvid)

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Just a little reminder of this lovely dialogue.
Note how Sherlock never claims that boys aren´t his area - he just says he currently doesn´t have a boyfriend:

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I will never get over this. How can anyone after this exchange - and Irene and Molly and Janine - believe that Sherlock is romantically and/or sexually interested in women?

I always have to laugh when people argue that in TAB he said Lady Carmichael had "admirably high arches", so he must be interested in women. If this is the first thing he notices about a woman and the only one he praises - well. Apart from the fact that it was a near-quote from TPLOSH where Holmes - according to Mark Gatiss - is depicted as gay.

I think after that dialogue you can only see him as straight if you really really need to for whatever reasons.
