Hmmm, did they want to sent us a subliminal message about this show from the very start?
And the statue is not Cupid - it´s Anteros, the god of requited love.

What a nice find, nakahara.
Nothing is unintentional.

Does that mean "shag like bunnies"?

Yes, something along those lines... :D

"something along ..." tsts

Because I really want them to shag like bunnies.

Ah, but they want to do it, too...
It's rather clear from Sherlock's POV...John needs only to stop thinking.
Sherlock, make him a "nice cup of coffee", will you?

But isn't it supposed to be tea?

I was quoting Cabin Pressure, here
But, yes, tea.Tea works. Tea...in this fandom...is paramount.

Cabin Pressure
It is interesting though, all the little references that are in this show... and I still can't get over the Elephant in the Room, I mean that's not even an ACD case, Moftiss came up with that one themselves. They're obviously trying to tell us something.

There's indeed something.
I mean, just have a look at BBCOne Facebook page. When they reran The Empty Hearse, you know that scene when John tells Mrs. Hudson "Sherlock was not my boyfriend" ? Well, they've made a screenshot out of it, posted it onto their page and 99.99% of the comments made it very clear that nobody buys that, John. Mrs. Hudson has it right.
How is it possible that so many people see the same thing if there's not "a thing" to see in the first place?

They see but they do not observe!

So sad.

Oh, no.
Have something nicer. I nearly jumped the TV when I heard the dialogue:

The shaving cannot have been brought into it for nothing...

No. Seems to be a gay romantic trope.
