It is a fact that Mycroft keeps talking about the terror alert and Sherlock about John, the moustache, and his shirt.
Btw, this is paralleled in the Janine scene where Sherlock wants to talk about CAM while John is only interested in Sherlock's so-called girlfriend.
Talking about priorities …
