Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Wow, that an entire disertation work, not just mere essay!
I will read it tommorrow, looks quite funny and informative.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

So very true:

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I know people who say that Mary didn't go near the fire because she would have been in Sherlock's way and there just wasn't enough room for both of them. Convincing, isn't it...? Not.

All I can say is: if my boyfriend were trapped in a bonfire, I wouldn't just stand there and wait for his bromantic friend to come to his rescue.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Regarding the bonfire - at least she was telling him to come out. We should honour that.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I have to admit, Mary standing behind while Sherlock drags John out doesn't sit right with me. If it was MY hubbie, I would've been by Sherlock's side tearing down that bonfire!

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

This gets funnier the longer I think about it. Being trapped under a heap of wood and someone yelling "John! Get out, John!"

She was scared. She didn't know what to do. After all, she's just an ordinary nurse who... oh, wait a minute...

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Sherlock had to save John only to give us these nice parallel shots of them patting each others' faces when being injured. Just for the sake of art.
