Yeah, especially for himself. When I think of him scratching his head with it.......

He scratched his head with it? Clearly, I need to rewatch TGG asap.

Yep, when John is sitting on the ground and Sherlock is walking to and fro.

Sherlock montage shot (where he's doing a weird hand thing).

Oh, I'd like to think you would remember the scene, once I tell you which one it is. It's from TGG, where John and Sherlock go to the crime scene (I beileve it was some kind of very muddy construction site). Sherlock needs information from the wife of the victim, so he pretends to be a friend who is deeply distraught about his death. Once she tells him the information, he goes back to being his rude, emotionless self. Oh, Sherlock.... *sigh*

Re: The Sherlock screencap appreciation thread

Aaah, yes, of course! No genuine emotion, I would have remembered that.. ^^ tsktsk, Sherlock! The stage has lost a fine actor indeed!

Re: The Sherlock screencap appreciation thread

But Sherlock does fake emotion so well!  And I keep hoping someone would write a fanfic where Sherlock does show true emotion, but John doesn't realize it and mocks him about it until he realizes his grave mistake...

Re: The Sherlock screencap appreciation thread

This one was from the "Phoenix car" scenery, wasn't it, TeeJay?
Actually, when I compare now, I like the more mature Benedict from S3.

Both of them (Cumberbatch and Freeman) have such beautiful eyes, it's kind of fascinating.

It's from TGG, but to be quite honest, I don't exactly remember what scene that was. And I agree, I think I like series 3 Shelrock better as well, although he's somehow always lovely in one way or another. (Except personality-wise, maybe.)

Re: The Sherlock screencap appreciation thread

Well, hello there..! I love the slighty mischievous look in the first one.. Great shots as always, TeeJay!

S3 Sherlock is my favourite, too, but the very youthful S1 Sherlock also has a charm of his own..

Re: The Sherlock screencap appreciation thread

More fab screencaps!

Series 2 and 3 Sherlock are my faves, but I still love seeing any shots of him!

Yes, it is. It's when Sherlock asks that guy from Janus Cars for money for the cigarette machine, so that he can have a peek into his wallet.

At this point I think I am still unable to decide which Sherlock I like best. They all have a special something, I even adore the really youthful PilotSherlock. And if I compare certain scenes in TSoT with scenes in TEH oder HLV, I have the impression that even within S3 he sometimes looks so differing...

Re: The Sherlock screencap appreciation thread

His fake crying does look so real, Aw Sherlock! There's something about about Sherlock being 'out of character' I like... well technically it's not out of character as it went with his manipulative side... but you know!

TeeJay, your screen caps are amazing! I just want them all for my desktop background!

Aw, thanks! And, hey, you can have them all for your desktop background. Which reminds me, I should post a new one.
