I'm still working on my message and still need to wrap the socks...

I just need to slap my face and tell myself the message won't get any better than this and just wrap it up!

At the moment, my message is about 3/4 of an A4 piece of paper...but I haven't finished yet!

Ahh ok, that makes me feel better. I reckon I could cut it to a page and a half of a4, otherwise his ego might explode with all the praise!!!

Mine will probably be about a page long... but then again, some days I just want to write 'Thank you for everything' and send that off...

My message isn't that long either. A few compliments and a short poem, not self written, which I love and think Benedict could like as well.

Oh how lovely, I wish I had something like that I could send. I shall write from the heart and if he ever gets to read it I hope that will be enough and he won't think I'm a crazed stalker!!

Okay, I just finished my note... I will never be 100% satisfied and I have to deal with that... I can only hope he will understand how much he means to me...

Now I just need to handwrite it. It fills out an A4 page in Word, 670 word count. I just couldn't get it any shorter... poor guy, he'll probably give up half way.

At least I hope he'll like the socks.

Now I've also decided I'm going to paint him a painting... I know just what I want to paint; It's going to fit with my note... and I am going to write a poem onto it (Haven't written the poem yet)

But the main theme is 'The light at the end of the tunnel'...

Sorry for the double post... but I need a second opinion. I am thinking of writing this poem on the painting I mentioned above.

Is it too much, will he be scared?

"The light,
shining from one source so bright,
kind conductor of light,
enlighten me,
will me to take the last step,
exchange this darkness,
for these warm rays,
marking the end
of this tunnel so cold."

Should I send him my Errant Curl poem? Would he understand I wrote it with tounge in cheek or will it make me look stalkerish???

I'm sending him a copy of my drawing. Just not sure whether to send the one of him and Watson, or him and the microscope....what do you all think??

And Tonnaree, why not include the poem, telling him that it's a tongue in cheek thing? I'm sure he'd see the funny side

Thank you girls! I'll put it on the painting... I'm going to paint a little lovely, warm looking scene at the end of a tunnel that is slowly lit... It's going to tie in beautifully with my note... I hope.

Clare I think both of them are so beautiful! I possibly couldn't pick one!

This still needs a lot of work, and I still need to add the poem... if I can find my gold pen!

And who knows, I might rip it up and put it in the bin, start over a few more times and decide not to send him a painting anyway. I've only been working with my brushes for a month now... so yeah...
