    Will there be a Third RDJ film

    I read it somewhere in one of the articles related to this http://www.contactmusic.com/story/benedict-cumberbatch-shares-notes-with-robert-downey-jr_4033558
    but haven't seen anything official.

    I really hope that there will be a third movie. I love RDJ's version of Sherlock and the way they left off was almost as bad as Reichenbach. I can't believe he was in the room the whole time. No doubt Sherlock Holmes is the master of disguise

    I hope so too. I thoroughly enjoyed both of the films they have made so far. The slightly steampunk feel, the fantastic stuntwork and fight choreography, costumes, characterisations. Plus some of the special effects have been stunning.

    The RDJ films were my official introduction into the fandom and I'll always love them. As much as I love 'Sherlock' I'll almost always think of RDJ when I hear Sherlock Holmes. Anyways, they really should make another film, it would be amazing.

    Maybe they're having trouble wrestling him from Marvel Studios (btw can't wait for Avengers 2; only a year away... sigh.)

    I'll certainly look forward to seeing it as I have enjoyed the first two.
