Re: Game: Alternative titles for the episodes, series 1 to 3

So I think we said we were going to do (B)acronyms next. That is, take the common abbreviation for the episode and make it stand for something else:

ASiP: Altering Strangers into Partners

Re: Game: Alternative titles for the episodes, series 1 to 3

Bacronym is actually a word (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backronym), which is why there was the B. For example, WIKI, which is actually a Hawaiian word, some might say means What I Know Is. Or people joke that DELTA stands for Doesn't Ever Leave The Airport.

Hmm, Next Round Idea: As an homage to our R. Brook, maybe fairy tales/characters? If you like the idea, feel free to start!

Re: Game: Alternative titles for the episodes, series 1 to 3

Thank you CaseyB, I didn't know there's a word for something I've been doing for quite a long time  Unfortunately, there isn't one in my language.

What do you mean, the actual titles of fairy tales? Or can we adjust them to match the stories from the episodes like Brook's sir Boast-a-lot?

Or the fairy tale that best 'fits' that episode??  Because TRF particularly referenced several, due to the nature of it (Hansel and Gretel would come to mind).

Re: Game: Alternative titles for the episodes, series 1 to 3

Why, I'm flattered!!! ;) yes sounds like a great idea!!! I think we should do both: either a real fairy tale which best suits the episode or a spin off of one (e.g Sir Boast-a-lot). You can either do it by the name or the storyline, I'm doing it by the name!!! I might as well start - after all, I am 'The Storyteller' ;)
