I think it is really quite nice except for the font saying fan forum. That appears (no offence meant) slightly infantile (sorry I have no better word).
Another font might improve it lots

I can try a number of other fonts when I get home tonight. That's an easy fix. Maybe I'll make a few alternative drafts so we have different choices. Do you want me to try another colour too? If so, what would be your preferences?

I agree, I like the idea for a footer as well. I would volunteer to put them into one graphic, if people want to PM me pictures I should be including.

It'll be quite difficult to please everyone, since whenver people come together, there will be different tastes and preferences. What would you rather see than the faces of the cast? Maybe I can make an alternative banner or two, so that we can put different ones up for a vote. It's difficult to know what to try when I either don't have the right material to work with or little indication as to what people would like to see rather than what they don't like to see.

I'd like something that is a bit more representative. Sherlock is more than the cast. I like the picture of the slate and Sherlock's silhouette, too. And the picture that you created is nice.
What I wanted to say is that I prefer not to look at faces of people who appear to stare into the camera. Often with fake smiles.
It's just me. You can do whatever you choose. Obviously.

The member who took the pic passed it on to SH to be used in the banner. Therefore SH should have it and can pass it on to you.
