Well, it's nice that things are moving forward, but within the next three months is almost at too short notice. I thought there'd be more time for making plans and possibly saving up a bit more money (wonder how much the tickets will be) after not having had any official news since February. But with me it mostly is about getting some time off at work, which always proves rather difficult during the summer months when a lot of people are away already, so even a day or two won't be easy to get...So I don't quite know yet if I'll be able to go...

To be honest, to me this comes across as being a bit unprofessional. Three months? Maybe it's just me, but I'm used to conventions that give you at least six months time to decide and plan and book and stuff.

I think we should wait for an official announcement from Sherlockology.

Like we did since ... February?

Yes, it is a bit strange that they retweet this post from Showmasters instead of announcing it themselves. Wonder why.

Showmasters seems to be the 'company' that organizes these sort of events, right? Are they doing this in cooperation with Sherlockology? I haven't quite understood yet who is in charge of the whole thing anyway...

I don't think Sherlockology has anything to do with organising this event.
Showmasters and Massive Events are the two companies named on the form (aside from Hartswood Films of course) where you can sign up for the alerts.
Yes, possibly best to keep calm and wait for a formal announcement to be made. Maybe they just wanted to appease people a bit after almost half a year of virtually nothing...
I'm still hoping for October or November.

I'm hoping for October, but I thought they were suggesting it may be earlier...

The Sherlock Convention's twitter page just tweeted this: LAZARUS IS GO.
Now we need the actual info...

Yeah, everyone on Twitter is freaking out.

Cleverly done, I'd say. Now I really hope they'll get a move on.

Yes, three months is really too short to sort everything out.
I wish I could go, but I need to know how much I'd have to save, to find someone to take care of my son, to see if that's possible with work, to book the trip, the accomodation...
Three months sound surrealist. I hope it won't be on october.4, I'm going to Harry Potter studios
Hopefully, the organization is more serious than the last Supernatural French convention one, they went bankrupt and I lost almost 900€!!!

4 Oct is the 1st date I can physically get to London!
I need them to announce soon, as we are booking the London trip next week!
I'm assuming it is London!

What will happen on 2:21 ??

It probably has nothing to do with the convention, Wusel:

"SHERLOCKED preview taking place at #LFCC on Sat 12th July. Steven Moffat, @suevertue and @MarkGatiss in attendance" [Sherlocked twitter]
what does that mean, exactly? what kind of preview? (I cannot open the link in twitter yet, probably too many people trying to get on there?)
