Well I meant that for example in German cough would be translated to "husten" so the joke won't work then ;). Maybe they translate it as silly as in HIMYM when Barney makes jokes about nude art while holding his new dart in his hand...

do you remember the lines from TGG

"gay" - "hey"?

they translated it quite nicely: "schwul" -"cool"

Well I saw them only in German. When the blu-rays arrive next week, I gonna watch them in English

It'll only work if they don't translate it and just let people use a bit of 'savvy' and work it out. The phrase itself is pretty well known.
