Just re-watched the pilot. He says the same line (same words) but delivers it differently - as he does most similar lines actually. Pilot!Sherlock is much more casual than Real!Sherlock!

Yeah My computer translates phone text differently here. Thanks molly. The giant Rat of Sumatra was mentioned somewhere in the canon, but not written up by watson. I don't get my joke, either. no worries.
