Re: Sherlock Quotes Hangman

Maybe? What line do you have in mindd?

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Sherlock Quotes Hangman

The line I'm thinking of is

Her/the husband is three people

Re: Sherlock Quotes Hangman

Almost right, but think that first word over.

Re: Sherlock Quotes Hangman

I struggle to find that first word, so let's continue the game.

I for Irene.

Re: Sherlock Quotes Hangman

I'm only guessing at this moment.

IF husband is...
OH husband is...
HM husband is..

And, no, I'm not looking it up at Ariane. That's cheating.

Re: Sherlock Quotes Hangman

Not right yet - think over TSOT again. Where did the quote appear?

Re: Sherlock Quotes Hangman

I remember the scene. I even remember the line that comes after it.

Solved it without leaving the flat

But I only remember that line as

"Husband is three people" And then something about them being triplets.

So I'm stumped.

Re: Sherlock Quotes Hangman

It must be:
My husband is three people
