I read that the European premiere will be on 9 December 2013 at Sony Centre Berlin. Many stars are expected to visit, and Benedict is said to be among them. So, if anyone is near, make a dash for the red carpet. I suppose there will be more information soon.
However, it is a bit awkward to show it with Benedict's dubbed voice, isn't it? I mean, motion capture is all ver fine but not to hear him SPEAK the dragon would be a shame.
CineStar Sony Center - and this it must be! - shows all films in the original version. It´s one of the four, five places in Berlin where you can be sure to find "your" film undubbed . At least if it´s an English language one.

I wish I had something like that where I live.

Movies are generally shown dubbed in theaters in Germany? Really?

Almost always. And on television as well.

I guess we simply have too much money.
In Sweden everything is shown with subtitles, but original sound. It's cheaper.

And it's the reason why people from scandinavic countrys normally have far better language skills than we have.

I am very happy that Benedict will be at the premiere in Berlin but it will be a disappointment for most people who watch it afterwards. You get a digitalised Benedict dragon (beautiful dragon, I know, but ...) and no voice at all.

Haha, I was just thinking... next to him.
Not next to him...on his lap. So I don't need an extra ticket right? No extra seat no extra ticket.^^

Dearest tonnaree,
I love you too!
And I love the fact that in this forum we can always share our happiness with our fellow Sherlockians.
@gently: Yes, definitely cute, very cute. And when he's playing John, all I can say is: striped jumpers.
