Re: The "Good News" thread

There he is again. The tram driver who announces the stations with a kind of "singing" voice. Mentioned him in this thread before. Gives me a happy feeling.

He also can it the other way. Just started driving as someone crossed the track. Him... shouting "Blöde Sau". But now he's singing again.

And as we reached the terminal stop he said good bye and wished a nice weekend.

Ar you talking about a bus driver in Bonn? Because I think I know that guy too.

Re: The "Good News" thread

My highlight of the day currently is listening to "Cabin Pressure" on my way to work and back in the car. Always lovely to start your morning with a smile on your face as you're walking into your office building. Makes all the difference sometimes.

No, in the tram. 66. "Had" him the 3rd or 4th time already.

Oh, then I don't know him. Sounds wonderful, though. When you commute, a guy like that can really make a difference!

I didn't get the job from the interview the other day.

But I've got another one lined up tomorrow ^^

Re: The "Good News" thread

I celebrated my 25th birthday yesterday.  Me and my mum had Afternoon Tea in Betty's cafe which was lovely.  I got a charm bracelet from mum and dad from Fossil.  It has a ballet shoe charm on it and I can add other charms on it too.  I also got a couple of CDs.   After Betty's we went to White Stuff and I bought myself a purple skirt which has pictures of gardening tools around the bottom. A neighbour gave me an M&S gift voucher.  My brother gave me a copy of The Return of Sherlock Holmes which has a picture of BC on the front  and he also gave me a DVD I wanted.  All my gifts are lovely. BC won an award last night which was a lovely way to end my day.  xx

That's awesome for you!  My Sherlock shirt came in the mail today, too!

From the website:

(matches my Van Gogh TARDIS Doctor Who shirt…)  ;)

Re: The "Good News" thread

There is an article about the Sherlock phenomenon in today's Czech TV magazine with Ben on the cover. Amazing how one look at him makes me cheerful

Re: The "Good News" thread

A couple of weeks ago, my husband totaled his car in a wreck.  No one was hurt, but we were left with only one car and needing two.

The good news...

I got my first new car ever :D  A 2014 Mazda CX-5 Touring.

So happy right now XD
