Morning! Just tea for me, thanks.
tonnaree, I definitely keep my fingers crossed for you! The shutdown is all over the news over here, I think quite a lot of people here can't believe this is actually happening. I personally don't think that this has anything to do with doing politics anymore. And they actually wonder why so many people don't want to hear anything about politics and couldn't care less? This is doing so much harm, and it's a real disgrace that people like you have to suffer because of this. I'm so sorry for you...
Thank you Solar. It is insane and I know other countries are looking at us right now like WTF.
It is way beyond politics now. Some republicans are even saying now that it's about "pride" and "not being disrespected." I get so angry listening to the bleeding bastards, especially knowing that they are still getting paid.
*deep breath* Ok. I think it's time for a nice strong cuppa.

I'm really not so much into politics but I hope your country will be able to handle it in the future, tonnaree. Don't worry too much.

Oh, my tea leafs are spent Can I get some here?

If you find some new ones, would you share with me? Still 17 summaries of the same newspaper article left to correct, all in gruesome English, and I'm not allowed to drink alcohol...

Oh, of course - I still have lovely mango-scent free men fair trade black tea

I don't have any loose leaves at the moment. Have Earl Grey, Ooolong and Irish Breakfast in bags.
Anyone have any McVitties Digestives?

You have... what? Oh, okay, I understand, we're talking about tea here, black tea, nothing else, just black tea. Gimme.

You rather take tea than mango-scent free men?
What about lemon-scent free men?

...maybe eucalyptus-scent free men? Would be convenient in case of a flu, too.

It's a pity I cannot offer you a port to politely make you shut up

...and it's a pity you don't have to offer me a port to politely make me shut up, since I am so good and decent and am only talking about tea.

What is the English term for "Ätsch bätsch"?

Fine! You won! Port for Solar (is a Tawny pleasant enough?) and Grape Juice (of Montepulciano grapes, but no wine!) for Schmiezi

Hope it's not too late now for that port of yours, Harriet! I've been busy watching AG again, the dubbed version this time. I'll never get used to Benedict without Benedict's voice...

Yes, the voice is essential. But there's still his acting. And the lovely white shirts scene.

That's true. And since you mentioned the white shirts scene: I couldn't believe my ears, but my boyfriend's comment to that scene was "Cumberbatch's haircut looks really great". Should that make me nervous...?!
