No, it's really silly. As I probably mentioned before, as a teenager I was a huge Michael Jackson fan. I read all the books and articles about him, of course, everything I could get my hands on. One fun fact mentioned in some biography was that after the opening concert of the Bad Tour (1987), a British newspaper published a concert review titled "No pets, no plastic, just raw sex". As if they were really surprised that there were no pets on stage. Somehow that got stuck in my head, and when I was trying to find a username for FF.net and AO3 I just randomly remembered it and so I chose "NoPlastic". That's the story. Well, I think there haven't been any pets in my stories so far. 
But no sex either. Plastic, I don't know ...

I tried to write one when I was about 16 but never got past the first chapter. I read a lot of MJ fanfiction during that time though.

AO3 is short of archiveofourown, 1 A, 3 O's. It's sort of like ff.net, but without the really bizzar posting procedure and a lot fewer whiny and b**chy teenagers, at least amongst us Sherlock fans. Plus you can post pictures and vids there too, sort of.
You definitely have to come join us Punch, there are soooo many good Sherlock stories you are missing.
One warning though, slash is a major thing in the Sherlock fandom on AO3, even if far from all the stories include actual sex. Though it is not so difficult to find the Gen stories there are since they also have a good search function, so it's usually fairly easy to find what you want whether it's a specific pairing, theme or whatever.
No they aren't paying me to advertise, I just think it's a great site.
