Re: I wonder about Benedict.

I think he once said that it is quite hard for him to learn his lines. Which makes me admire him even more. And to think of "Hamlet" …

I would ask him if he would send his own children to boarding school as well. Quite a strange concept for me as a German mother.

I find the boarding school thing strange too Susi.  Especially for the very young ones.

Re: I wonder about Benedict.

It's a wonder...
Obviously we don't know his personal status.
As long as he's happy.
I know his life plan went a little bit awry...
But as I say, as long as he's happy.

Re: I wonder about Benedict.

I hope he will have a family soon, so that he will have grand children to tell things to, as he plans to (I think he said it somewhere sometime).

Please let us stop calculations about a real person's porn preferences right here. Thanks. :-(

Re: I wonder about Benedict.

Mod's note: Please, if we want to keep this thread which is a bit tricky, do not write in an intrusive way about his private life. Sorry I had to delete the above posts but this is not respectful towards Benedict. I would hate to close a thread but there has to be a certain level of respect towards real people (who at least in theory might read all of this stuff).

Re: I wonder about Benedict.

Thank you Susie, I have to say I'm much more interested in his views on life, his likes and dislikes, what he's like as a person, rather than what he gets up to in his 'personal moments'.

My sincere apologise.  I seem to live with my foot in my mouth sometimes.  I was taking a joke from HLV but I should not have applied it ti BC himself.

Not you.  Me.  SusiGo has been subjecting my posts to a double standard.  I've asked the administrator privately to delete my account.

Re: I wonder about Benedict.

I have searched for Tonnaree's original post in order to edit it as well but could not find it as I was in a haste this morning. I am sorry you feel treated unfairly but it remains fact that your answer was not acceptable in a public forum.

Re: I wonder about Benedict.

Just to make it a bit more clear:

Susi did not delete MNRebecca's post at random, but because there have been complains about it, coming from me and others. Let me try to explain why the post bothered me without giving details about its content:
First there was a new "I wonder ..." post from tonnaree that was a bit dirty, but not very specific, dealing with Benedict's personal preferences when it comes to "personal moments"(nicely put, Biggles!).. MNRebecca then picked up the thought and gave details.

At that point I started to wonder how I would feel if the thread had been about me. (That's what I usually do, you know, the whole "treat others as you would like to be treated" thing.) No matter if the speculation had been true or false, serious or fun, I would have felt hurt and exposed. That's why I  wrote a comment on it, and, as MNRececca was not online herself, asked Susi to take a look at the post instead.

Deleting it seemed to be the right course of action IMO, so thanks again for it, Susi!

Tonnaree, I think it is great that you've deleted your comment as well without making a big fuzz. I love your sometimes a bit dirty humour, but I hope i could make clear why in this case I objected.
