Parade's End on German television

I hope it is ok, that I post this information, since there are a some german members at this forum -
but mayby most of you already know.

Parade's End will be aired on German television on channel ARTE on the 7th and 14th of June.
The series will be new cut into six episodes and three episodes will be aired on each date.

I wonder why they cut it. We'll see. But I'm glad that they finally show it in Germany. I've been doing so much word-of-mouth advertising during the last months.

And it worked, Susi, at least for me. Date is marked in calender, husband already informed that he is expected to watch it with me. Fortunately, the argument "It' HBO" always works with him.

Real fans will try to force their family to watch it with them in German after having watched it three times in English.  P.S. I can't believe it didn't win a BAFTA.
