BBC sherlock versions of common sayings

don't put all your eggs in the one basket = don't store all your photos on the one phone
look before you leap = google before you leave the flat
the calm before the storm = john's look before he rants.

Re: BBC sherlock versions of common sayings

In Sherlock, the friendzone is more like human coffee, or walking case zone.
biting the bullet=entering the resteruant
break the ice=offer to repair Johnlock
eat humble pie=pretend it's doomsday and beg for forgiveness.

Re: BBC sherlock versions of common sayings

A bad penny always turns up - Moriarty is always waiting...
A good man is hard to find - John Watsons are hard to find!
A word to the wise is enough - 'Vatican Cameos!'

"Anderson, don’t talk out loud. You lower the IQ of the whole street.”
 - Sherlock Holmes
"Brainy's the new sexy"  -  Irene Adler
“We solve crimes. I blog about it, he forgets his pants. I wouldn’t hold out to much hope.”  - John Watson
"Is that a British Army Browning L9A1 in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?"  - Jim Moriarty
