It starts all very professional...

....and is only for science. Obvious.

Though it's dangerous to jump to conclusions without having sufficient data it would seem to me that you're not going to make the Golem (gigantic man made of clay).http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/wink.png

Looking forward to seeing your progress in modelling that head...http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/happy.png

Let's deduce from the pics whom she's going to model. Looking forward to it, Mattlocked. http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/happy.png

Re: It starts all very professional...

The problem is that I don't want just collar up and cheekbones... but the look!
But how can you make a perfect copy of a perfect face? Impossible.

But than again, it's still just a study, right?

Re: It starts all very professional...

This one's just WOW. But I think it's easier to capture the look on paper than in clay.

Re: It starts all very professional...

As I'm working both ways I have to disagree.
At least for me working things out on a "flat" paper sheet is more difficult than modelling three-dimensional.
Right now I have the problem that the pictures are two-dimensional and I have to change to three-dimensional.
I think I need a more natural model.

The drawing is really great!

Re: It starts all very professional...

Just wonderful. Awesome. I'm lost for words!http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/happy.png

That look of concentration on his face - very well done! I like the structure of the" woolen cloth" - is it an impression of kitchen roll paper? It looks so genuine. And the hair - OMG! Fantastic.

Re: It starts all very professional...

Thank you!
Yes, he's tiny. It's still the study, that's why. So there is more to come.
As practical person I made a (half) figure out of it.
Burnt it will still be kind of grey. I think I will put on a bit black colour afterwards. Maybe.

24 cm, btw...

Burnt? So Jim got his wishes then? Or is he getting fired?
